Woodbender – Dressed in Proteas8 August, 2013
As Woodbender is a proudly South African Cape-based company we felt having our furniture dressed in Proteas is an appropriate way to express our patriotism. The Arabella Lowback was dressed in Proteas for Decorex JHB 2013; it has also been known to be dressed in Aloes as featured in the Woodbender Calendar in August.
The Arabella Lowback is a lovely feature chair in a lounge setting; it is small and has large panels of fabric which can showcase larger prints effectively. By virtue of being a smaller tub chair the statement can be bold, yet contained. When combined with beautiful understated neutrals, the Arabella Lowback in Proteas will finish off the look in a room.
The Hampshire Lowback was also recently dressed in Proteas, as seen at Decorex JHB. The Hampshire takes on the blue colourway of the Protea fabric and is complemented with an electric blue plain to create a striking two tone effect.
The Hampshire Lowback is popular as a dining chair, either at the heads of the table or as a full set around a stretched dining table. The Hampshire Lowback also works well in waiting areas and smaller lounge areas.
