Introducing: Woodbender’s Morris

4 June, 2012

Woodbender would like to launch our interpretation of the classic Morris chair.

This timeless piece of furniture was first conceptualised by Ephrain Colman in the mid 1860s, and later developed and
designed by William Morris and Company. Since then many have interpretted the Morris for themselves, moving away from the original Victorian chair.

Woodbender’s version of the Morris is more contemporary, with classic lines which are simple and show off the bentwood components and beautiful Ash timber.

MORRIS TUB

Our Morris, is upholstered in a HERTEX FABRICS and is stained Walnut.

Woodbender has taken the Morris one step further by adapting the tub into a two seater version.
The Morris two seater is a beautiful companion to the Morris tub and is a classic peice of patio furniture that can be restyled by simply changing the cushion covers. This Morris two seater is again covered in HERTEX FABRICS on the back cushions and another imported fabric on the seat.

We are in the process of doing research on finishes that will make the Morris durable for an outdoor application, in the mean time our Morris is exclusively for covered patio applications. For more information please feel free to contact us.
